Our Story
It started with a simple but powerful observation. The Northeast India narrative — rich, complex, and culturally vibrant — was often being filtered through the lens of outside perspectives. There was a critical gap. The world was looking at the region, but not truly listening to it. The nuances of the hills, the rhythm of the streets, and the pulse of local businesses were being lost in translation.
Founded by Charlieman Sangma (young entrepreneur) in the heart of Shillong, Meghalaya. NE Frontier is a flagship digital publishing platform by Hillscripts, built to bridge that gap.
